100+ Patriots Who Care is a select group of individuals who donate $100.00 to the Amber Waves of Grain Veteran Festival. This combined donation of $10,000.00 makes a real impact for Veterans in need of assistance. In three years, Amber Waves of Grain has raised more than $96,000.00 and distributed funds to over 40 veteran non-profit organizations. We are proud to announce that .74 cents of every dollar raised went to these great organizations..
The committee organizing this event consists of prior, Reserve and retired Veterans representing each of the Armed Forces. Coordination has begun with Army Reserves and the California National Guard to provide military vehicle static displays. All proceeds will be distributed to non-profit organizations supporting Veterans.
This event will be organized in such a way that the Veteran booths, military displays and Veteran Living History Museum will be separate from the beer tasting venue.
Our 3rd Annual Amber Waves of Grain Beer Festival in Corona was co-created by Bill Steinkirchner & George Brightenburg in Corona, CA. Our event is a time for all armed forces veterans to come together and help those who have also served. The individuals that will be pouring the microbrewery beers are Veterans themselves and will be able to display their memorabilia to share with everyone.
A living history museum will be created where families and individuals can interview and interact with Silver Star and Purple Heart recipients, a Pearl Harbor Survivor and an Iwo Jima Veteran.
On November 2nd, 2019 the Amber Waves of Grain Craft Beer Festival in Support of American Veterans will be held at The Shops at Dos Lagos, Corona, CA. The event will feature a parade, military vehicles, a military museum, non-profit organizations (directly supporting Veterans), military related vendor exhibits, a craft beer garden featuring 40-microbreweries, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This outstanding event provides an opportunity for residents and neighbors to interact with WWII Veterans, get up close and personal with historical and current military vehicles while supporting a great cause.
All events (except the craft beer garden) are free to the public and is hosted by the All American Riders and Blue Star Mothers.
